How to use

  • Collect first morning urine in a sterile container.

  • Open the vial containing the reagent buffer, which contains acid, carefully. Perform the test immediately after opening the vial.

  • Take 3 ml of urine with the dropper provided.

  • Compare with the colorimetric scale provided the color of the sample obtained after 3 to 5 minutes after performing the test.

  • After evaluation, determine whether the detection of tyrosine levels in urine is negative or positive (the table provides indicative amounts of tyrosine in urine). If positive, follow the advice in the package insert.

  • Beware, after a prolonged reaction (more than 10 minutes) of urine with the reagent, the mixture degrades and the color no longer matches the possible test result.
