Screen Test Helicobacter is a rapid test for self-diagnostic use to detect Helicobacter antigens in human feces. Helicobacter Pylori is a small, coiled bacterium that lives on the surface of the stomach and duodenum. It is involved in the etiology of various gastrointestinal disorders, including duodenal and gastric ulcers, nonulcerative dyspepsia, and acute and chronic gastritis. The presence of the specific antibodies in stool is a highly reliable indicator for detecting the presence of Helicobacter Pylori infection.

How to use

  • Wash hands with soap and rinse with clean water.

  • For fecal specimen collection: The fecal specimen should be collected in the fecal collection sheet or in a clean container. Please use the stool collection sheet, avoiding contamination of the specimen by taking precautions so that the specimen or the side of the paper containing the specimen does not come in contact with other contaminating objects including toiletries.

  • To analyze fecal samples: Unscrew the cap of the sample collection tube, then randomly stick the collected sample with the applicator into the fecal sample in at least 3 different places. Do not shake the fecal sample. Screw and secure the cap back on the collection tube, then shake the sample collection tube vigorously to mix the sample and extraction buffer.

  • Bring the package to room temperature before opening it. Remove the test device from the sealed package and use it as soon as possible. Better results are obtained if the test is performed immediately after the package is opened.

  • Open the cap on the sample collection tube and break off the tip. Turn the tube upside down and pour 2 full drops of the extracted sample into the sample well (S) on the test device.

  • Read the results at 10 minutes. Do not read the results after 20 minutes.
